First thing to do after driving it back from Warragul on nearly 20 year old tyres was to drop it off at my mechanic's place for a check and do whatever was necessary to get a roadworthy.
Fortunately the list wasn't too long. About 800 bucks later it was all good. The biggest drama was around the aforementioned horrific tyres but other than that it was just a flush of the fluids and repair of minor and common leaks around the CAS and rocker cover.
